About The Shadow Project
We are on a mission to make school a place where children with learning challenges can thrive. Since 2003, we have partnered with talented special education teachers and staff to increase academic success and inclusion for the 1 in 5 students who experience learning and attention challenges in school. Our school-based and summer programs give teachers and parents resources and training to nurture the strengths of children who are neurodivergent and/or experience disability, so they can achieve to their potential.
We are passionate about advancing educational equity for underrepresented students, and believe that diversity of experience and perspective makes us stronger. Thus, we encourage and support applicants from all backgrounds to join us in our work. This includes — but is in no way limited to — people experiencing disability, those from communities of color, and people who are LGBTQIA2S+.
