Aiden Koll

AmeriCorps Academic Support Specialist

Aiden’s passion for inclusive, hands-on learning was inspired by her experience attending local alternative school, Metropolitan Learning Center, and later solidified during six weeks as an Outdoor School leader in high school, having witnessed many struggling students thrive under different conditions & expectations. She also spent eight summers as a camp counselor at Willowbrook Arts Camp in Tualatin, fostering creativity and growth in young learners. As a neurodivergent student, Aiden significantly benefited from accessible, often unconventional, youth-centered educational approaches, which makes her thrilled to contribute to Shadow Project’s mission. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a social justice focus from Oregon State University.
