Jessica Wade
Occupational Therapist, Multnomah County Early Childhood Program
Jessica is a pediatric occupational therapist working with the Multnomah County Early Childhood Program (MECP) and owner of The Wiggle Room, an indoor play space for all abilities in the Hollywood neighborhood. After growing up in New Jersey and then starting her career in Philadelphia, Jessica moved to Portland in pursuit of exploring the outdoors. She now shares life with her husband and their two boys, ages 7 and almost 4.
She is a long-time supporter of The Shadow Project, providing expert guidance on the development of Shadow’s SuperSensory Spaces, parent education resources such as Easy Sensory Routines at Home, and at home sensory tool kits distributed to over 200 East Multnomah County families. At the end of the day, Jessica’s greatest passion is helping children and their families live a great life no matter what their abilities. She loves owning an inclusive playspace that is designed with children’s developmental and sensory needs in mind.
