Karen Drill provides applied research and evaluation services with and for The Shadow Project that include refining program logic models, conducting implementation and outcome evaluation, analyzing quantitative data, reviewing surveys and other data collection instruments, and developing internal capacity around qualitative data collection and analysis. She specializes in mixed-methods research and is honored to contribute to The Shadow Project’s goal of developing its culture of evaluation and embedding evaluation into its practices. Karen completed her master’s of education in measurement, evaluation, statistics, and assessment and her Ph.D. in educational psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She works locally, regionally, and nationally with nonprofit organizations that focus on education, behavioral health, social services, and library programming.
